In 2007, to Google Corporation. From 2010, he set up the second advertising sales headquarters as general manager, working hard to grow the head office through the establishment of a sales base.

 

 

Use influencers to appeal products

 

- Would you tell me the business of THECOO immediately?

Our main business is the so-called influencer business. The first thing I worked on was a service called iCON CAST. YouTuber is a service that promotes companies, currently 3,000 people are registered as YouTuber. From the company point of view it is YouTuber's crowdsourcing.

How iCON CAST works

 

Next is the service called iCON Suite, which allows you to search Youtube, Twitter, Instagram influencers with their fan's demographics (male / female ratio of a follower, age, etc.). For example, a company that wants to reach a woman in her twenties can search for influencers with followers that meet that criteria.

By the way, iCON Suite develops tools that can directly search influencers from the hobby / taste of fans. In other words, you will be able to find influencers that have lots of followers who like A idol. This function is scheduled to open in the summer.

 

- I heard that you also have a production.

There is an affiliated company co-financed with Yoshida Masaki Office. As we operate the service as above, we have many influencers. We established HUITMORE (Yuimore) in 2017 as a production for their management and production. There is another office "Studio Coup (Studio Co)" specializing in game players.

- You are deploying multiple services around influencers. Could you tell me how you started the influencer business in the first place?

Originally I went through a major trading company and went online in the fields of docomo AOL, SONY, Google. Many of our founding members have similar backgrounds. Even though I was not even deciding what to do yet I started a business, but lol, I had to keep a bite, so I was consulting online marketing at the beginning.

At that time, I decided to appoint Youtuber to market for a certain company. The result was a huge success. I thought that this system would be useful to other companies, and I began developing iCON Suite. As soon as I launched, hundreds of Youtuber registered, but I was convinced that this service would be available at that time.

 

People who can enjoy the utmost freedom and responsibility

 

- You did not start a business as an influencer business? I think that we will also develop new services in the future, but what is the policy like at that time?

As I mentioned earlier, I have been acquiring careers with several large companies. Every company was surrounded by truly excellent people, but I also felt that they had not been able to demonstrate 100% of their abilities, due to their self-confidence and in-house politics. Since I had such experience, I think that I want all of my employees to work at full power in my company. So THECOO's mission is "Continue to challenge" not possible "".

Because it is such a mission, THECOO has a corporate culture of "being free after that if it challenges" and "rough and tough". It is not a good idea to publish "results", but "challenge" is important. I am now focusing on influencer business, but I have not decided what to do in a nice sense.

Actually iCON CAST is not my idea either. A staff member said that he wanted to do iCON CAST and decided to do it at the end of the discussion. I wish I should do it as a side job if I can not approve it later. But I am glad that he had such a thought.

 

- Please tell me the point that you would like to work with others like this.

When you do business, there are simple questions raised. I would like you to have fun while thinking about it as "Can you solve it?" As I try to do something new, there are a lot of things I do not understand. For example, we have only been in business until now, but in order to solve this problem, it is necessary for THECOO to act positively even if you do not know when PR activities are absolutely important. I would like to work with people who can deal with various things, if you feel like this for customers. I'd like to work with those who are interested in the influencer business and expand their range.
