Work on revitalizing the region and agriculture through office vegetable service "OFFI DE YASAI (Office in Vegetable)". Currently there are over 500 companies to introduce from venture companies to listed companies, contributing to the health management and working style reform of each company.

 

Vegetables can be eaten at 100 yen from the refrigerator in the office

OFFICE DE YASAI sets up a refrigerator in the company and employees can purchase vegetables and fruits in it at 100 yen. Because it is packed it is possible to eat as it is without washing. Since it is fresh food, the staff of OFFICE DE YASAI replenishes it twice a week frequently, and those whose expiration date expires are said to be collected.

Vegetables are fresh produce, and it is becoming clear which farmers made. Not only raw vegetables but also salad type are prepared, and the popular one is "Cucumber, carrots, vegetables with slightly different characteristics" are scattered.

Employees will be able to get vegetables in exchange for 100 yen. The amount paid by the employee is deducted from the monthly fee, and payment is made to Competito.

A general salaried worker's work day is 240 days. Even salaried workers must prepare conditions so that athletes will be in good shape. It is impossible to have a situation like a hangover for days.

Even though I know the reasons, humans are taking saccharides and oil. Eating vegetables is something I can not eat easily. How much does OFFICE DE YASAI really eat because it is placed in the company ...?

OFFICE DE YASAI is overwhelmingly cheaper than buying one item at 100 yen at convenience stores and supermarkets. "Inexpensive and nearby! Let's eat!" Is an incentive, and we are going to eat themselves. Compared to eating vegetables every day, the feeling of reluctance to eat is decreasing.

Mr. Kawabe and Ms. Watanabe who decided to decide to start entrepreneurship in agricultural activity and community active field. KOMPEITO was founded.

I thought from a long time ago that I would like to do a job that would bring about change and I felt that I could do something closer to that when I was examining agriculture and food. Consulting also plays a part of change, but as the client gets better and the product needs to get better, it is a bit far from the scene. So I thought about doing it myself, I started a business.

 

Since the distance between the producer and the consumer is short, we can know the real needs

By the way, recently, there are an increasing number of so-called direct sales businesses making full use of digital and IT (Direct to Consumer (D2C) in the world of fashion). In the field of food, farmers and fishermen sell their products directly to consumers. OFFICE DE YASAI is also close to direct sales business.

This makes the distance between consumers and producers close. From consumers, it is often pleasing that fresh vegetables are cheaply available and taught us how to eat deliciously, but there are many benefits to producers as well.

Taking vegetables as an example, trading farmers' sellers are brokers. The broker also sells to wholesalers and supermarkets, so from the farmers it is almost impossible to finally know what people eat their own vegetables and how they eat.

Recently, business like purchasing directly from farmers like OFFICE DE YASAI has been appearing, and Marche etc is also increasing. Farmers can also communicate directly with consumers, "I've been making beautiful vegetables for the time being, but it seems that there are other needs for consumers as well" is.

There are cases in which vegetables are sold at EC, but as consumers can eat, they are hard to purchase at the same time, right? On that point OFFICE DE YASAI vegetables are already at hand in the office, so there is a sense of security. It is also possible to fulfill the need to eat the vegetables directly at home via EC. I do not yet support it now, but I'd like to increase such cycles in the future.

 

 

Not only vegetables but also a mechanism that makes it fun to go to work

OFFICE DE YASAI with ambition to keep vegetables familiar, therefore, members who gather here also have many people who are connected to farmers and people from rural areas. It seems that there are many people who want to enter the company because they thought that their parents are farmers and who thought that agriculture is familiar but there was a feeling of blockage but wanted to make agriculture better. Other than that, we had product development at convenience stores, but some people wanted to engage in product development that does not use preservatives. There seems to be many people who want to reconsider their relationship with existing foods.

Finally, I asked about future prospects.

Not limited to vegetables and fruits, I would like to apply from the company for what I need for my house, so I can take it home with me. I might like to make the refrigerator into IoT, and I would like to create a mechanism to ask what I need every day. The goal is to make it a little fun to come to work.
